Does Eco2 intend to screen the plant from nearby homes?
Landscaping works will be implemented as part of the proposal. An extensive area of new woodland planting would extend north from the site entrance along the western and nothern boundaries of the site. This would, as the trees mature, provide a degree of screening for the properties at Scawby Brook from the effects of the development (with the exception of the upper parts of the building and stack).

The landscape plans are part of the planning application and as such Eco2 would be obliged to implement the plans if the project goes ahead. The planning authority typically demands the right to approve the details of the landscaping and planting scheme in advance. Landscaping is an integral part of the plans and residents should be assured that the proposals would be followed through.
